About Youth Golf of America

The Youth Golf of America  started with one mission, to provide a quality comprehensive golf program for all golfers, with the only criteria for competition being age.  This innovative program is open to all regardless of skill level.   The YGOA tournament programs are known as the YGOA - Champions Junior Golf Tour and provide local, state, national and international exposure for all the players.

Annual donations, grants and corporate sponsorships to the YGOA 501c3, allow for the YGOA to offset course access, education programs, scholarship opportunities, instruction, supervision and website for their members. 

Orlando, Florida is the home of the YGOA National Office and not only offers programs throughout the state of Florida and hosts the International Camps and the YGOA Champions International Tournament each year.


 

The YGOA Champions Tour is being recognized as one of the fastest growing and exciting tour programs for juniors.  Offering tournament training, events and all levels of competitions.  Champions allows opportunities for juniors to grow at their own pace and move on to play on school or college teams.

 In addition YGOA Champions offers regional, national and international events that are open to all members.

YGOA offer local, regional, state and national events for juniors.  All juniors are welcome to compete regardless of skill level or ability.  The program offers juniors to move along at their own pace to improve and have flexibility to skip events and not be penalized. 

Juniors compete in the following age divisions:  8u, 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u & 18u in both boys and girls divisions.  The determining factor of establishing a age division for a junior is his/her official age by August 31stof each year.  

To register for YGOA events, go to the Join Now Page, fill out the required player information and then Submit, by using the button at the bottom of the page.  Or use the downloadable  application provided on the Join Now secion, and mail the application in  with the proper funds.  If you are are applying to enter a camp or tournament, be sure to add YGOA  Membership fee to your entry fee.  To register for local events, it is best to contact the local club directly.  summer and holiday camps fill up quickly, so be sure to register as soon as you have chosen you dates.
